WHO IS THIS DREAMBOY CHARACTER AND WHY IS HE JUST A HEAD?

DREAMBOY is the subconscious manifestation of the idiot who pays all the bills around here. But then, so are IVAN and BRIMSTONE. We're all really just one coward's way of coping.

We ain't got no legs because we started off as animated characters. And animating arms and legs takes a lot of work. Since we're only interested in telling stories and spouting off, we realized all we needed was a buncha mouths!

(Note: This is all much to the dismay of our talent manager who thinks our lack of limbs and self-destructive nature equals non-marketability. Tell me, would you buy DREAMBOY merchandise if it existed?)

WHY AREN'T THESE COMICS FUNNIER?

We here at DREAMBOY.COM want to be funny, but our brand of humor is a bit...dryer than most. We've been told we're "too Beavis and Butthead," yet "not as cool as South Park," for what that's worth. Given the small percentage of viewers who send feedback, we'll take what we can get!

DIDN'T I SEE YOU ON MTV, OR IN SOME OTHER STUPID FESTIVAL?

Yeah, that was us. A few years ago DREAMBOY made a very brief appearance on MTV's ill-fated "Cartoon Sushi." We like to think their failure is our doing! DREAMBOY first appeared in D.Film, and then later in Spike and Mike's "Sick and Twisted Festival of Animation." DREAMBOY, along with some TRASH TOONS allegedly appeared in a Cinequest Festival, too.

Samplings of DREAMBOY'S current release, DREAMBOY AND THE CLAM will be appearing in Hollywood Shorts, the AntiMatter Festival in British Columbia, and in the next D.Film, most likely.

We're not always...just sometimes. Only when the mood hits us. We like to think of ourselves as not being based in reality, but as funhouse mirrors of reality. That being the case, bad things are bound to creep in every now and again.
